Morons of the Month: A Holy Trinity of Stupid

Since there are far more creationist morons than there are months in the year, it's time to play catch up. Here are February's top three morons:

3. Theology professor Tom Frame

For this embarassing article, in which he wonders why people who accept the fact of evolution don't let it utterly dominate their lives:

[Richard Dawkins] won't take his depiction of Darwinism to logical conclusions. A dedicated Darwinian would welcome imperialism, genocide, mass deportation, ethnic cleansing, eugenics, euthanasia, forced sterilisations and infanticide. Publicly, he advocates none of them.

PZ Myers effortlessly swats this bothersome fly:
While Newton described the acceleration of falling bodies accurately, it does not imply in any way that he he advocated pushing people off of tall buildings. Rational people might be able to see that.

2. Answers in Genesis' UK Spokesperson Paul Taylor

For making the UK look as retarded as Kansas in this debate. Watch how, as his tired old arguments fall flat, he gets frustrated and his head starts to redden and swell up like a big balloon. Quick, somebody loosen his tie or it's gonna explode!

Peter Atkins owns everyone right there. That's how it's done.

1. Marie Jon

For one of the most unconvincing and poorly-written piles of drivel I've ever had the misfortune to read. Marc Draco has already posted about it on his blog Abusing the News. Apparently Marie is aspiring to become the new Ann Coulter. On the basis of this piece, she's far more likely to become the new Sarah Palin. I'll let you decide which is worse. Rather than provide a proper critique of the article, I can't resist picking out a select few of Marie's insightful observations:

Why should young people believe in a half-hearted Creator who willy-nilly allowed things to sort of fall into place?

Animals, bugs, trees, and plants do not have the capacity to reason as human beings do.

A big brown-eyed raccoon might be capable of figuring out how to open your garbage can, but not one raccoon has ever celebrated a wedding anniversary, or thought of buying its mate a birthday present.

At this very moment, a mansion is being prepared for those who love Him. There is no housing debacle where the most Holy God abides. Your heavenly home has already been paid for by a loving Savior.

She also claims that "only people have minds that can critically think and deduce complex things". Her article is convincing evidence to the contrary.

Atkins' expression on 1:32 in the second video just says it all! "What are these lunatics talking about?!?"

Credophiles and cretinists accuse science of "arrogance" quite a lot.
But how arrogant is it to foist their nsubstantiated fairytales onto people?
Credophiles and cretinists are the arrogant ones. Blind to the reality they fear, they make up imaginary sky daddies to look after them and expect rational folk to respect their sad beliefs.
The cretinist on the video shows how far away from reality his kind get. According to him death came about due to the Fall of mankind. Since Jebus came along to redeem us sinful humans why is it that death is still around? Jebus can't be a very good repairman can he?
Religion is full of this type of illogical shit, that escapes the puny critical faculties of its adherents.

The funny thing is creationists know they have very little evidence, save for a book written tens of hundreds of years ago, by different people, in a different language. and they don't mind. They just act like it's okay to have no evidence.

You don’t now how many times I’ve heard this rant from Evolutionists and Atheists. Really? Creationists are the morons? To me it’s much ado about nothing. The ONLY DIFFERENCE between an evolutionist and a Creationist is ‘origins’, two simple questions, who started it all and how did we get to today? That’s it. Evolution is a branch of Biology, it’s not all of Biology, much less ALL OF SCIENCE. It’s not even needed to understand science. I’ve taken University level General Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy and Physiology, Organic Chemistry and Advanced cell structure. I never, never, ever needed to fall back on the Evolutionary theory to understand or grasp the concepts. I was a hardcore Creationist all the way through premed and had no problems doing well in my classes. From your rant, you’d think Atheists were paving new paths in science every year. Yet, that’s not reality. 64.5% of all Nobel Laureates are CHRISTIAN. Yea, it is the ‘uneducated, ignorant, in-bred morons that DOMINATE SCIENCE in every field except Economics where we break even. The supposed ‘flat earth’ proponents have made the most significant and earth shattering scientific discoveries in the history of science. My question is simple. Where are these brilliant, rational, super atheist minds? Why aren’t they leading the way? Either the Nobel Committee is too obtuse to recognize ignorant, uneducated, inbred, moron science or Atheists and Evolutionists are self deluded. “The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God.”
