In the Christian Bible we’re told
That the Earth is six thousand years old
In the Genesis book is a tale
Of a man who lived inside a whale
Some people today still believe
In the story of Adam and Eve

It's Competition Time Again
Your task is to write a limerick about creationism. The funniest one wins. Here are some possible ideas for the first two lines, or you can come up with your own:

Okay, I really don't have a talent for this, and I'm also not a native English speaker, but here's for nothing:
---
In the Genesis book is a tale
Of a man who lived inside a whale
There is also about the story of Job,
Who offered his daughters to a mob
This is the standard creationism entail
---
In the Christian Bible we’re told
That the Earth is six thousand years old
Some people tells us this is true,
If you only knew what they knew
To scientific scrutiny this couldn't hold
---
(This start is technically not a limerick, so I modified it a bit and wrote a poem here instead)
Creationists tells us to believe
In the story of Adam and Eve
Innocent as babies they both were,
Until came to them a saboteur
Serpent told them "Eat to gain knowledge,"
A property God would not acknowledge
The lord was furious and said to them,
"You gave me no choice but to condemn"
"Out from my kingdom and copulate,
so I can flood the world which you populate"
"Nonsense!" you may say to this story
Well, then you will receive no glory
At the almighty Heavenly Gate,
Promoted by creationist hate
---
I'll see if I try again later on. :-P
My bad, that was a beginning of a limerick. While glancing it, I must have read it wrongly. No point in my "poem", then. :-)
For what it's worth, here's my best effort:
In the Christian Bible we’re told
That the Earth is six thousand years old
Noah's ark had T-rexes
And siblings had sexes
It really is comedy gold
